about

How to Go On a Diabetic Diet by Jamie Fynn is fantastic! There are a lot of general books about diabetes. What I like about this book is that it’s more narrowly focused. The main purpose is to show you how to create a personalized diabetic diet that you can live with. It doesn’t just give you menu plans. It lists foods that are acceptable, and ones that diabetics need to avoid. It actually helps you to create your own menu plan with the knowledge from this book. It also lists conditions where diabetics are more at risk e.g. heart disease and stroke. Then it lists additional foods that are healthy for both conditions. The book differentiates between different types of diabetes including Type 1, Type 2, Juvenile, and Gestational. I especially appreciated the information on creating diabetic diets for picky eaters. How to Go On a Diabetic Diet is well-researched and packed with helpful tips. I would recommend it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good I have read the book its very good. This book changed my life. Really I just followed 90% what was in the book regarding diet and in just two months I went from being a moderate type II diabetic to an A1C of 3.7 in just two months.without this book I would be taking insulin, which we all know eventually leads to a stroke or heart attack. Thanks to the author for sharing this book.
