Rated 3 out of 5 by from not as good as expected but ok I bought this for my husband who loved Grizzly Bear...This had funny bits in it but the over all format kind of ruined the funniness of the book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hillarious A must read for any cat owner, book is illustrations-comics only so is a short read but a very funny one. Found myself sharing with friends who have cats aslo :)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't really like it It was funny, but nothing beyond smile worthy. Not a book I would pay to read, but maybe if someone offered it up online for a free download.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Everything you need to know aboot this book is clearly stated in the title. It is one of the most informative and descriptive books aboot cat biology and behaviour available to the general public. Buy this book or spend the rest of your life regretting poorly made decisions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Had a good crack at this book! Although many of the puns were found funny by me because I own a cat, and felt I could relate, I think it's a great book for cat haters too. It's not hysterical though. A few of the jokes aren't funny, cat or not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We thought it was hilarious :) I bought this for my 14 year old son to offset some of his Stephen King reading, and he opened it Xmas morning. It was a hit, we sat there and laughed at every page. I wish the book had been even bigger or there was a series of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Some good new ones I enjoyed this book, some of the contents are already on the website but a decent portion is new material, definitely made me laugh aloud and chuckle insanely to myself. If you have an odd sense of humour or have ever owned a cat you'll love this book.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Often laughed out loud This is a graphic novel/collection of cat comics from “The Oatmeal”. I've not heard of The Oatmeal (www.theoatmeal.com) before, but the guy who wrote/drew these must have a cat himself (or has had one). I was often laughing out loud. It was quick to read and very enjoyable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as I had hoped After seeing a splendid review of How to Tell If Your Cat Is Plotting to Kill You I knew I had to read the book and luckily I was able to score a copy of it through my library. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect but it certainly wasn't what I got. I thought I would be in for a comic that would have laughing hysterically given what so many people were saying about the book on Goodreads and Amazon. Too bad for me it wasn't as funny as I had hoped at all. The Comics were cute but weren't anything to write home about. I thought they were only mildly funny and I was greatly disappointed by that fact considering one of my favourite bloggers gave the book such a stellar review of it I found it to be bland and pretty stereotypical with the basic cat jokes. While it was a quick and easy read I just look at it as if it was just something to occupy my time in between reading novels. I wish I had liked the book more and I wish the material tied in with the title a lot more but it didn't which I found to be a little misleading. Overall, this was an okay read. Not bad but not Good. Apart from the occasional giggle I wasn't very entertained at all and I would only recommend this book to be read as a little novelty read for cat lovers in a stocking at Christmas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too funny! Not a long book, but so funny. Perfect for any cat owner. It will give anyone an hour of entertainment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great laughs - Short and Sweet It's not a long one, but every page is a laugh. You'll want to be a cat person, but if you are and you are a fan of The Oatmeal do not pass this up. Colour is important in parts, so keep that in mind if using eInk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome funny This book was so lol I think it's a bit to much money thought it only takes about 10 minutes to read

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purrrrfectly delightful !! All those with furry friends will be just delighted with the content of this book :)!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pure Genius This book is genius ... any cat "posessor" (not owner becasue we all know they own us!) will find this book hilarious. Laugh out loud funny!
Date published: 2013-01-07
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Some really funny parts and others not so much As a cat owner I thought parts of the book were hilarious, while, as some other reviewers mention, other parts were so-so. It's all pretty tongue-in-cheek. The comics about the "Bob-cats" weren't that funny, but the plotting part was good. Overall, a decent book. Wouldn't pay full price but I thought it was a good value on sale.
Date published: 2013-01-07
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ok not really funny Mildly amusing...wish text was larger on Kobo version as it was very small and hard to read. Was long enough.
Date published: 2012-12-31
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money! Do NOT buy! This book is only an online bestseller because the title is intriguing to us cat-lovers. I found the comics in this book to be quite boring and predictable, really, given some of the actually hilarious stuff out there about cats. This book is totally NOT worth purchasing and certainly DON'T buy it as a gift unless you can flip through it yourself (some of the comics could be quite offensive to some).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money; buy something else Not funny. Yawn. Buy something else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Cute and Funny Book. When I ordered this book I didn't know what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised to see it was pages filled with coloured images and comics. As a long time cat owner many jokes definitely made me chuckle. It isn't just a book about how your cat is plotting against you, it makes a number of different jokes about cat behaviour. I particularly enjoyed the tear out poster for my niece as well as the longer comic series within the book on two cats who work in an office. I recommend this book to anyone with a cat, especially a playful one, as you will never look at it quite the same again.
Date published: 2012-12-30
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing As a long time cat owner, I was looking forward to a tongue-in-cheek view of feline habits when I ordered this book. But I could only work up a mild smile at some of the cartoons; most simply weren't funny. The author obviously doesn't know cats. Lesson learned about online shopping for books - only buy the works of authors you know. Even at a discount, this book wasn't worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great gift! This book makes a wonderful gift for any cat lover on your list! It's funny all around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A MUST buy! As a cat owner myself, this was the funniest book I have ever read! A fun comic style book for people of all ages to enjoy. If you are a cat lover and thinking of purchasing this book, DO IT! You will have some good laughs while reading these quirky comics. I am SO happy with this purchase, I can read it over and over again!
