Calling to them, guiding them, manipulating them.

The Darkness has awakened. And it is hungry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hungry for more Gone? I am going to be talking a little about Hunger by Michael Grant from the Gone series. I will be explaining to you about the good things and the bad things about Hunger. I hope that you read the first book before reading the second. It is so that you know more about the characters and the plot. Continue reading to know more. Some of the characters are Sam, Caine(Sam’s archenemy and brother), Astrid(Sam’s girlfriend), Little Pete(has autism and is Astrid’s little brother), Lana(healer), Drake( Caine’s friend that has a whip arm),and the gaiaphage(the darkness). Sam has a power that he can shoot light out of his hand which is very powerful it can go through walls of brick. Caine can also do the same but less powerful. So when everyone goes hungry Caine holds some of Sam’s people captive. Until the darkness is alive and controls Lana and she badly injures one of the people. Then Sam and Caine go to destroy the darkness together. I think people who like supernatural books or action books would like this series because this series is really interesting that when you start reading the first book you will want to read the second book and the third etc. Also once you start reading it will get really interesting you won’t want to put the book down and will want to keep on reading to know what is going to happen next. The good things about this book are that the characters were really interesting because of their powers. Example Sam could shoot light out of his hands. There was also some romance which I liked because I think that in every action book there should be romance, don’t you think? I also like that Lana could heal just by touching the person it is really incredible. Even if they didn’t mention a lot about Little Pete I still like it to keep it a mystery. I think that in the next book they will mention more about Little Pete which will be really exciting for the readers because finally you can know more about Little Pete. But some of the bad things are that the book was a little too long. Also, I want to know more about Little Pete because in Gone Little Pete was in most of the parts. But in Hunger Little Pete has very little parts that I can read about him. Also, I thought that Caine and Sam would get together in the end but they didn’t they were just nice to each other to destroy the gaiaphage/darkness. But I still can’t believe they didn’t get back together as brothers again. I also didn’t like that lots of people died like Duck which is really sad because some of the people that died were people that were really nice, helpful, honest (sometimes) etc. I rate 5 Stars still though even if there are bad things the book is still very intriguing! So you should really read this book because of what I said and also as I said it is really exciting for readers. Although you might think my review is really interesting but wait until you read the series it is more exciting than my review. So be ready to read your butts off! Thanks for reading see you later!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just as good as the first book I found hunger was just as good as the rest of the series. I loved the plot and the events from the plot, I loved the characters. The characters are actually amazing, with great personalities and great roles. I love how there are so many characters that you get to meet and hear the story though. I can't wait for the next book.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay...... I really expected Hunger to be amazing like the first book, Gone. But actually, it wasn't. It was okay to me. It was a little boring and took me a little more time to finish it than usual, but I still liked the plot. If you liked Gone then get this book!!!!
