Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a twist! This book takes a very new direction from what I had read in the first book. I loved that I could carry on reading about David and the dragons. #plumreview

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good sequel A great continuation of the story. Nothing like I've read before, mixing the already interesting clay dragons with the story developing in the Arctic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holy cow I loved this book, simply put. As a sequel to 'The Fire Within', it gives the reader everything they could want in a continuation and more. The evolution of Chris's writing is palpable and beautiful, and the plot itself is stunning; suspense, excitement, humor, romance, and even a good dash of disgust makes this novel an amazingly good time to read. It had it's cheesy and unbelievable moments alike, but to me, it added to the story's overall charm. If you're a kid, and looking for a captivating read, or even an adult, simply looking for a good story, this series of books is the way to go.

Editorial Reviews

Praise for Icefire"Chris D'Lacey's writing is sometimes exciting and sometimes silly. But that seems in keeping with the worlds he created- one that seems almost real and one that is beyond imagination." -The Washington Post
