about

In this riveting sequel to the USA TODAY bestseller If I Run, evil lurks, drawing Casey out of the shadows . . . but there is light shining in the darkness.

Casey Cox is still on the run, fleeing prosecution for a murder she didn’t commit. Dylan Roberts—her most relentless pursuer—is still on her trail, but his secret emails insist he knows the truth and wants to help her. He’s let her escape before when he had her in his grasp, but trust doesn’t come easily.

As Casey works to collect evidence about the real murderers, she stumbles on another unbearable injustice: an abused child and a suicidal man who’s also been falsely accused. Casey risks her own safety to right this wrong and protect the little girl from her tormenters. But doing so is risky and may result in her capture—and if she’s captured, she has no doubt she’ll be murdered before she ever steps foot in a jail cell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am found in CHRIST If I'm found is a continuation of If I run, which was a way intense thriller that you will kick yourself if you didn't read it. You have Casey who is on the run for a murder she did not commit. Chased by Dylan - you know the token member of the PI's and police force group that are going after her - but guess who helped her get away and guess who is emailing her wanting to help her more? This book is full of contradictions but good ones, bizarre but good. The author truly knows how to blow your mind and have you enjoy it and want them to do it again. Fun eh? This book is a thriller down to the last word. Worth your time which you find yourself stealing time here and there just to read it, don't get caught though :) love this book...........I received this book from Zondervan. All the opinions of this book are my own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compulsive read As compulsive a read as the first book and you absolutely must read If I Run before starting in on this one! "The police lights in my rearview mirror almost destroy me." (p.1) And so it begins -- another cat-and-mouse pursuit that will leave you breathless. Casey has been wrongly accused of murder and she's running for her life. The real killer wants to silence her but she's smart enough to keep a step ahead of her pursuers...so far. A premise that was inspired by the movie Fugitive starring Harrison Ford so if you're a fan you will absolutely love this series. The intensity is staggering. Heart-pounding, teeth-clenching kind of stuff that nearly turned me into a speed reader. My white-knuckled grip on the book has put some permanent creases on the cover! :-( There's Casey -- frantically on the run while trying to figure out a way to catch the killer at his own game. She can't do it alone. Luckily Dylan has come to believe in her innocence and wants to help. But can she trust him? Because she's not the only one at risk -- her whole family is in the crosshairs as her pursuers get more desperate. As in book one, there's a compelling sub-plot full of danger and mystery that adds an even sharper edge to this already gripping novel. And Blackstock has infused the story with a powerful faith thread that shines a light of hope during the darkest times. And be forewarned -- If I'm Found definitely has a cliffhanger ending though there's enough closure between the subplot suspense and Dylan and Casey's relationship that I am content to wait another year to get full resolution. Well, maybe content, is not the right word since I have the strangest urge to start marking down the days until If I Live releases...March 2018!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't Put Down I began reading this book as soon as I received it. It was tough to put down! Just as thrilling and suspenseful as the first book in the series, it will be keep you reading to the very last page. If I were a nail biter, I would have been biting my nails through the entire thing. Instead every time, I had to put it down, I just kept picking it right back up saying to myself just one more chapter. Well, within a little over 24 hrs I was finished, so make sure you carve out some reading time with this one. I love Terri's writing style. She doesn't waste time with detailed word descriptions to fill the pages. She gets right to the point. The suspense is riveting, you never know for sure what will happen next. I loved how she incorporates faith into this book. Casey, who isn't much of a religious person, finds herself drawn to God. Terri does an awesome job presenting the gospel as well as answering some tough questions about His love, such as, "Where is He when bad things happen to good people?". She doesn't claim to have all the answers, but she encourages us to look for his blessings amidst the chaos and craziness of everyday life. To find him in the hard times, in the simple things, whether that be in the day to day provision or simply the awesomeness of His creation. This isn't the end of the series and Terri leaves us longing for more. Although its not necessary to read book one to understand the story, I would highly recommend it, to get the background. I also read it very quickly, and it is worth it I received a free copy of this book courtesy of the publisher to read. A positive review was not required and all opinions are my own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not the Ending I Expected! This is a top-notch suspense, just what one would expect from Terri Blackstock. A close follow-up to If I Run, we find Casey still on the lam and uncertain whom she can trust. I love how Casey puts her own safety on the line more than once when she is convinced that someone else needs help. Casey is also quite concerned about others who stand to become potential victims because of her running. Casey seems to have a good head on her shoulders and really cares about those around her, whether those she has lost or those she stands to lose. My one disappointment was I did not realize (silly me, don't most book series contain three books?) that everything would not wrap up at the end of If I'm Found. I highly recommend this book. I obtained a complimentary copy from the publisher and NetGalley. This did not affect my opinions, which are solely my own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Justice? Once again I was left with my heart in my throat, and the wanting for justice to take place immediately, but alas it and life really don’t happen that way. This is the second book in this series, and yes the first is as good as the second, and now I anticipate the third, however they can stand alone, but you will want to know what our girl with the big heart did in the previous book. Can you imagine looking at the face of evil and yet these are the people that you are supposed to rely on when there is trouble, members of law enforcement. Makes me so sad that the people you are supposed to trust are so untrustworthy, and I do realize that these are the rare few, but does one apple spoil the bushel, lets sure hope no. All the while I was reading this, I kept wanting justice for all, and yet for some it does come to late, how very sad. I am really pulled into this story, and highly recommend the first two books in this series, you won’t be disappointed, and you will be waiting for book three along with me. I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Zondervan and was not required to give a positive review.
