Janaina Vieira is a well-known Brazilian writer based in Rio de Janeiro. She studied literature and then shifted to a career in marketing in publishing industry. She has to her credit many books, published in Brazilian Portuguese, including 'Só entre nós' (Just between Us), O blog da Marina (Marina's Blog), Não é o fim do mundo (Not the End of the World), and O caminho do sol (The Path of the Sun). If the Baby Comes is her first book in English. Her two books were awarded by the Brazilian Union of Writers in 2002.
