Lena Wise is always looking forward to tomorrow, especially at the start of her senior year. She’s ready to pack in as much friend time as possible, to finish college applications and to maybe let her childhood best friend Sebastian know how she really feels about him. For Lena, the upcoming year is going to be epic—one of opportunities and chances.

Until one choice, one moment, destroys everything.

Now Lena isn’t looking forward to tomorrow. Not when friend time may never be the same. Not when college applications feel all but impossible. Not when Sebastian might never forgive her for what happened.

For what she let happen.

With the guilt growing each day, Lena knows that her only hope is to move on. But how can she move on when her and her friends’ entire existences have been redefined? How can she move on when tomorrow isn’t even guaranteed?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Real, wonderful, heartbreaking, I took me a while to decide to read this book. I knew it was going to break my heart. And it did. From a writing perspective, this book has everything, engaging characters, wonderful description, a complex plot, and a narrative that flows well. Now the story as such is something real, something that it could happen to anybody and I wish never could. But as the author and Lena, the protagonist says, this story is a lesson and hopefully, people would learn from it. "Actions have consequences, right? So does the inaction." If There's no Tomorrow is a story about loss and regrets, choices and acceptance, and of course, there is romance and friendship. What didn't like? Well, at some point the story turned a little slow. And I got it, Readers need to understand the main 1character's feeling, still, there was no need to go on and on with the same idea. Also, I think that switch that helps at the MC to get out of the bottom it wasn't as much as the impact I was waiting. But for the rest is a fantastic reading. "Was does waiting do? None of us are promised a tomorrow. We learned that, didn't we? We don't always get a later." 100% recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVED THIS BOOK My mom got me this book for my birthday because I had been wanting to read it. As soon as I started reading it I immediately just wanted to read more and more. I must have read at least 5 to 6 chapters a day because it was so intriguing. It was a definite page turner. The plot is fantastic, you can relate to the characters, and it's just one of my favorite books I've ever read. If you like romance like I do and just love a good book to just pick up and read, I definitely recommend this book.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LOOOVVVED I bought this book after reading the problem with forever and I'm so glad I did. This book was amazing. I was really expecting a classic teen romantic story and I so. glad it wasn't. it was so emotional with the trauma the main character was facing after the event that occurred as well as her progress of going through it. I LOVED her relationship with Sebastian their interactions were so sweet

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Oh my goodness So I love reading teen fiction sometimes because every now and again it's nice. I went into this book expecting a fluffy love story but it was so much more than that. I love the characters and the ways that their struggles were portrayed it was very real and very beautiful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from JLA does it again! Very eye opening. This book is about survivors guilt (which isn’t something I’ve read about before) and I’ve learned a lot from this book. It’s vey real, very heartbreaking and emotionally written. I appreciate its sincerity and at the same time simplicity that somehow portrays its message just so. Cutest next door neighbor love. May sound cliche but somehow made new and richer with the profound themes discussed. Often next door neighbor romances are fluffy and light but this was an interesting and thought provoking combination. Thank you JLA for drawing attention to this issue I’ve come away enlightened.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Read! Purchased this book to keep myself busy while waiting for my kids at dance, but it was a book that I had a hard time putting down! This book is definitely not your typical 'boy gets the girl, happy ever after' type book. It's filled with heartbreak, regret, and tears. Sadly, easy to relate to as so many make one bad decision that changes their life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must Read!! Jennifer has done it again!! If There's No Tomorrow is about how one choice can change your life in an instant. But it doesn't have to define who you are unless you make that happen. It's a story of family, regret, forgiveness, and even second chances. We have all made a similar choice as Lena did but reading about the experience makes you think that we need to be aware of others and how to protect them because it could have been a different outcome in the end. One of the reasons I love Jen's writing is that Lena was easy to relate to and even get tears in our eyes. I loved this book! It had moments where it was heartbreaking to next were sweet moments of humor. Plus Lena is reading an awesome book about Fae. Sebastian is the boy next door who Lena has been in love with. The chemistry between them from a friends to lovers romance since you can see the emotions between them from the beginning. I fell in love with everyone in the book because the dynamic was perfect. Lena's journey was handled respectfully and in a sensitive way. If There's No Tomorrow is a coming of age story that will make you think because its insightful and uplifting at the same time. As a huge JLA fan this one is definitely one of my favorites by her. The writing was as always expertly written and has a powerful message that everyone needs to be aware of. Be sure to pick this book up on September 5 because you will want this on your shelf!!
