This beloved New York Times bestselling picture book is a fun-filled, inspiring story about the power of teamwork and the importance of celebrating individual gifts and self-expression.
And now you can follow Iggy’s further adventures—with his friends Rosie Revere and Ada Twist—in the instant New York Times bestseller Rosie Revere and the Raucous Riveters, an all-new chapter book starring The Questioneers!

Some kids sculpt sand castles. Some make mud pies. Some construct great block towers. But none are better at building than Iggy Peck, who once erected a life-size replica of the Great Sphinx on his front lawn! It’s too bad that few people appreciate Iggy’s talent—certainly not his second-grade teacher, Miss Lila Greer. It looks as if Iggy will have to trade in his T square for a box of crayons . . . until a fateful field trip proves just how useful a mast builder can be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inspiring! As a teacher, I'm in awe of this authors choice of topic to write about and it's definitely a genre that hasn't been tapped into yet. We need more books about engineering.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Iggy Peck, Architect by Andrea Beaty Out of all the picture books this author has released so far, I probably like these illustrations the best. This gem is full of charm, humor, warmth, creativity and tenacity. Iggy Peck is a born architect--one of those lucky few who knows absolutely what he wants to do with his life and decides to do it in every way he can--starting by using his diapers to build a skyscraper! His parents encourage his creativity and talent, but when Iggy gets to second grade his teacher puts a damper on both. Because SHE does not like tall buildings (she had an unfortunate experience as a child!) no one else should, either. if you want to use it to convince the youth of America that architecture is a fun and interesting occupation, by all means go ahead.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Entertaining and Inspiring This is a wonderful story that will inspire young (and old) minds to use their imagination to build and create something wonderful. The only weakness in the story is that Iggy actually uses more engineering than design to save the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous read! I bought this for my active "out of the box" thinker son for his 8th birthday. He loves it! It's not a difficult read, nor a long one for that matter, but it's beautifully written and illustrated. Your creative child will end the book feeling valued for their special skills. There is a bit of Iggy Peck in all of us!
