HarperCollins | February 4, 2014 | Hardcover

Ignite Me is rated 5 out of 5 by 2.

The heart-stopping conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Shatter Me series, which Ransom Riggs, author of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and Hollow City, called "a thrilling, high-stakes saga of self-discovery and forbidden love."

With Omega Point destroyed, Juliette doesn't know if the rebels, her friends, or even Adam are alive. But that won't keep her from trying to take down The Reestablishment once and for all. Now she must rely on Warner, the handsome commander of Sector 45. The one person she never thought she could trust. The same person who saved her life. He promises to help Juliette master her powers and save their dying world . . . but that's not all he wants with her.

The Shatter Me series is perfect for fans who crave action-packed young adult novels with tantalizing romance like Divergent by Veronica Roth, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, and Legend by Marie Lu. Tahereh Mafi has created a captivating and original story that combines the best of dystopian and paranormal, and was praised by Publishers Weekly as "a gripping read from an author who's not afraid to take risks." Now this final book brings the series to a shocking and satisfying end.

Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall, a beautiful perfect ending to this romantic dystopian trilogy How was I going to write this review when it's one of my favourite trilogies of all time? When Shatter Me E landed on my desk at work I picked it up because it was super shiny and the description sounded like my kind of book. I devoured it, I loved it, and now it's over. I'm so sad it's ended *sniff* Juliette's growth from the first book has grown exponentially. The cover is symbolic in the sense that we find her to have blossomed from the girl she used to be. She's grown up, matured and so fiercely independent. Her friendship with Kenji is the best type of friendship. Loyal and forever platonic, they care deeply about each other and their witty remarks to each other made me laugh out loud. In general, Kenji makes me laugh no matter what. Now on to the boys, we find out what Warner's plans are (FINALLY!) and I just knew that he had it in him all this time. There were so many hints in Shatter Me so you can see a glimpse into his nature. I'm just so glad that I was right. Now on to the other boy in this series. Adam is being a tool and I don't like seeing this side of him. He's so angry all the time. The things he said were so hurtful and so incredibly wrong that I wanted to smack him. I'm surprised Juliette didn't. Also, The dialogue between James and Warner is too freaking hilarious.. The innocence of children. He says and asks the most funniest things. All I have to say is "OMG chapter 55!!!!!" Forever marked in my heart as one of the most heated and sexy time scenes I've read in young adult. Whew *fans self* Overall, a beautiful perfect ending to this romantic dystopian trilogy. I highly suggest reading this if you love characters that change over time, action scenes with crazy consequences and a chapters that will forever stay in your heart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful End to a Beautiful Series! Review originally Posted at Adventures in YA Fiction  I have been mulling over my thoughts for this book for about two weeks now, and I still don't know how to vocalize my love of this book. I was terrified to read this. Anyone is scared to see their favourite series end, because what if it's not everything you wanted? What if it's terrible? There were so many what if's that I just had to jump in hoping for the best. And that's exactly what I got. Ignite Me was a perfect ending. What I loved about this series was that it was never about the intense politics of the world, or the nuances of the Reestablishment. It was about Juliette. As much as we'd like to think this book is about the romance, or the dystopian world, it was really about Juliette finding herself, and her learning to love every part of herself. And I feel like that's what we got in this book. Juliette became self aware, and became stronger than she ever has been. She become a newer, better version of herself.
