Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best big brother/sister series by far! We have always used these books with our toddlers before and after a new baby arrives! They are simple and positive without putting displacement or jealousy issues where they needn't be! Why give your toddler even the idea that s/he needs to be jealous or upset? It also allows for realistic expectations of the new baby "too little to walk, too little to talk, too little to play with toys..." and points out all of the fun things your toddler can do now that he is bigger. :) I love the positive message of these books and will continue to recommend them! Expecting #6 any day!! :D

Editorial Reviews

I’m a Big Brother and I’m a Big Sister are bestsellers and it’s clear why. They empower first-time older siblings by filling them in on their new role: Mommy and Daddy’s helper with the new baby.” (“The Best Books for Soon-to-Be Big Brothers and Sisters”)
