Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quite the unique series I gotta say, whoa. This series is unique, for the fact that everyone is immortal. Like only natural causes of old age can kill them. Sick? Get shot in the head, and they feel better. It's quite the world with these kinds of people. Except, there are those that aren't immortal. They are just like us, but apparently have a disease that makes anyone mortal by being in love with them. So, the Special Unit police force crack down on these kinds of people to keep it from spreading. And only the Escape Artists can save the diseased humans. It's a cat and mouse series of the Escape Artists, against the immortal police, aka the Immortal Hounds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Badass It's an interesting to find out about a world where everyone is legit immortal, where the value of human lives is taken for granted; others are easily discarded. Reminds me of Psycho-Pass, actually, with the way the police hunt and kill those they deem a threat to their society. It's bittersweet and tragic, but it's so gripping. I can't tell where the plot is going yet, but it's pretty captivating so far,as more and more is revealed about the population, this society, its rules and morals.

Editorial Reviews

"The best bit here is the way that the world slowly unfolds, offering new details at just the right rate. Just when you start to get into the flow of things, the book throws something new at you, making for a wonderful pacing... [I]f the setup sounds interesting to you, as it’s unlikely to disappoint." - Fandom Post "The setting of Immortal Hounds is wildly interesting, and its characters’ voices are consistent and strong... To say I want to see where Immortal Hounds goes understates the matter." - iDigitalTimes "We foresee the potential for great things in the future for Immortal Hounds. If the story maintains it’s level of mystery and in-your-face action, then it should be an exciting and graphic tale." - BentoByte
