Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Cookbook! This cookbook has excellent recipes that are fun to make with your children. My daughter who is 6 loves to bake these delicious French treats. I have used them with my students as young as 3 years old, and they love getting their hands messy making dough and mixing ingredients. These recipes are definitely kid and family tested and approved!

This book focuses on French classics, old and new, but also serves as a guide to cooking that will help young cooks gain the confidence in the kitchen they need to tackle any cuisine. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to have fun and build skills with their kids in the kitchen; encourage kids to expand their palates by cooking, tasting, and experimenting; or master some seemingly intimidating French pastry techniques themselves. It is one of the best cookbooks I've seen for kids--the food featured is great and children are introduced to French cooking that is both very good and possible to master.
