They say that there are two sides to every story and to every coin, but what most don't know is that there are two sides to a small section of the city's world renown Island “MANHATTAN”. Depending which side of the coin you are on Harlem always rung louder and there is only one thing that mattered above all and it’s that "paper".

In this story of East meets West, in traditional fashion of the sedative that is excreted from a syringe, through the eye of a needle and finally into the blood stream of heroin hungry veins, this clash of sides eventually places the "self proclaimed king of Harlem" Lavell Collins in direct opposition with  the eastside and that inadvertently put Yvonne, Lavell's girlfriend in a freedom compromising, life altering situation.

INDICTED is a story that illustrates love, lost and the desperation that so very often justifies the behavior of those residing in Harlem and the various communities that may mirror it. Places where addiction consumes the home, demoralize the people and erodes the spirit. Like the many that came before it, INDICTED gives readers a unique and in depth look at a world where the social, economic mechanics, that has for generations plagued our culture, could be unfair and outright discriminative.

This goes beyond the 2014 version of Romeo & Juliet because it takes place in HARLEM where Lavell and Yvonne have to fight for everything, including the basic liberties such as life and love while fending for one another, even if it’s by their own set of rules.
