Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Exquisitely beautiful I ordered the Indigo book box for the first time with this title. I was so excited when I got it...The letter, the tea and best of all the book. Two countries, Tranvia and Kalyazin have been at war for over a century. Tranavians have overthrown the gods both countries once looked to as the source of their magical power. When monastery, she grew up in, is attacked by troops led by the high prince of Tranvia, Serfin, Nadya and her friend Anna escape. They meet up with another Tranavian and two Alkoans. A plot is hatched to murder the king of Tranavia. Wicked Saints explores how attractive a monster can be and how easily and often we are willing to forgive them. Nadya has to decide whether she will hold fast to the beliefs she has been taught and sort through her complicated and growing feelings for a damaged young Tranavian named Malachiasz. This book draws extensively from Eastern European myths and legends, which only adds to the depth of this book. I am so looking forward to further instalments in this series.
