In typical Caulfield manner, it isn't enough to just interview experts and read all of the current studies (which he does). He tries celebrity-recommended beauty routines and diets. In this fun, factual book, Caulfield separates sense from nonsense and provides usable and evidence-informed advice about what actually works and what is a waste of money and time.
TIMOTHY CAULFIELD is a professor in the Faculty of Law and the School of Public Health as well as research director of the Health Law and Science Policy Group at the University of Alberta. Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Book Everyone Must Read A lot of things we do are influenced by celebrities, such as diet and lifestyle. However, many of us don't realize that these little things have little or no scientific evidence to back them up. In his book, Dr. Timothy Caulfield experiences the ways in which celebrity culture influences us and give his own advice as well as any knowledge science has to offer. This book was recommended to me by one of my professors. It was funny and educational. I would definitely recommend to everyone.
