about

Jess and Randi Phillips are sisters living in beautiful Ithaca, NY. Their lives seem ordinary: two young women pursuing their careers. Randi is a Literature professor at Ithaca College, and Jess works in the ornithology department at Cornell University. Their lives are busy, but also comfortably routine. Randi is surprised to learn that her sister’s life is one of subterfuge, and that from the moment she left Randi’s sight in the police car, she seems to have disappeared into thin air. The situation becomes even more dangerous when she is contacted by Alwynn, who is a former colleague of Jess’s, and is now under the influence of a twisted mind and cold heart, and the reason Jess disappeared. Jess leaves Randi with one clue to uncover the key to the whole mess, garbled by the use of a cell phone during a struggle. Can Randi decipher the clue, and jump through all of Alwynn’s sadistic hoops in time to save her sister?
