about

From New York Times bestselling author Katy Regnery comes her first duo of paranormal romances!

ONCE UPON A TIME...
the most beautiful boy in the world kissed me.
I’ve never been able to forget.
Perhaps it was his jet-black hair,
or the changing copper-color of his eyes,
the intense way he looked at me...
or the fact that he awakened my passion for the first time,
at once otherworldly yet heartbreakingly real.
But after that kiss, I never saw him again.
His name was Jack Beauloup.
Jack, my “ Beautiful Wolf.”
Twenty years passed. He has returned. For me.

Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! I LOVED this book! A few weeks ago before its release I read the synopsis and instantly felt intrigued. But once I read it..it was more than I thought I liked that it was an adult paranormal romance. There's not enough of them, and the ones that do exist are like JR Ward's series: long and ongoing and although good, all similar. This type of paranormal romance brought me back to YA paranormal romances. It's that type of story with older characters and hotter sex. Is there any other combination though?! Because let's be honest, the YA genre does paranormal romances the best, so for this to have that same feeling just made me so happy. I LOVED the characters. I don't have much to say about Darcy except I enjoyed her personality. But Jack..now he has it all. Great looks, mystery, intrigue, and so on. The two together make for an adorable story. It's pretty obvious from the beginning what type of paranormal story this is. Hell, it's obvious from the synopsis, but that's really besides the point. Although there was no mystery of what he was, it worked all together so perfectly. There didn't need to be a mystery creature for this book. It wasn't about wondering about Jack, it was about wondering what would become of these two. I enjoyed how Part 2 is all in Jack's POV and how we get to see his life and learn more about the creature he is and how it all works. This part also leaves the story off on a slight cliffhanger leaving me dying for the second to release in a few days. I loved this book and can't wait for the next one.
