Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful companion to Making the Cut or for use on its own If you've watched The Biggest Loser then you know Jillian expects you to work hard, push yourself and sweat. If you haven't watched the show then you should check it out to see what you are getting into. The box contains numbered cards for the exercises that are referred to on the circuit training cards. They are small so are easy to carry around the gym and it takes less than 5 minutes the night before to put the set together and be ready for the next day's workout. I suggest bundling them with an elastic. This set gives you a set of exercises you can do yourself and try before spending the money on a personal trainer but if you really want it to work, you really need to push and keep your heart rate in your target zone - not an easy thing to do when all you want to do is take a break and there's no one yelling at you to keep going except yourself. Daily, weekly and monthly goals may help you but it is always going to come down to you. The Making the Cut and the Hot Bod in a Box set is not for beginners. If you are just starting out then you might want to check out the Biggest Loser 30 Day Jump Start (very good if you have a lot of weight to lose and have not been active at all) or the Biggest Loser Fitness Plan (this has beginner, intermediate and advanced routines) before you move on to Making the Cut and these cards.
