about

This exciting adventure starts with the police chief informing JP that baboons from the Drakensberg Mountains were found in a ship. No more was said. On hearing this, JP and team scout the area by helicopter, and follow a troupe headed towards the mountains. At the cliff face, the baboons scampered up and over. The team follows where they encounter six poachers firing at the baboons. A fighting ensues, JP is overpowered and hurled over the cliff. Luckily he is caught by the baboons.

Together they work out a plan that lures the poachers away. In the trucks they find one with stunned baboons and a baby; in the other stunned leopards. With the help of female baboons the stunned apes are taken to safety. Tired, the team with baby go to sleep, but not before JP unlocks the cage door of the truck containing the leopards. They are awakened by the roar of leopards saying JP would make a good meal. In as big a roar, JP tells the leopards that down the track are six big unarmed men. Six pairs of boots found under bushes showed that the leopards heard JP. The baby baboon joined the team.
