Rated 3 out of 5 by from Junie B. Jones Is a Graduation Girl (Junie B. Jones #17) by Barbara Park, Denise Brunkus (Illustrator) I read Junie B. Jones is a Graduation Girl. Junie is graduating kindergarten and she is very excited but scared at the same time. All the students have caps and gowns to wear for graduation. They're to take them home and not open them. Well, Junie B. hardly listens. She spills grape juice on the gown and to cover it up or to blend it in, she colors purple polka dots onto the gown. Junie B. goes to school Friday for graduation and everyone laughs at her because she messed up. The teacher, Mrs. takes her in the hall to talk about it. When Junie B. and Mrs. go back in, everyone has poka dots on their gowns. Junie B. Jones is a Graduation Girl has a good message in it.
