Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the movie. Love the book. The last time I read this book, I was a teenager. I enjoy reading Jurassic Park now as I did then. The movie is just as good, no matter how times I've seen it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Boring Quite a dry book, with stilted dialogue and predictable, one-dimensional characters. Had to force myself to read the whole thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If only the movie had the same plot A brilliant adventure with incredible attention to detail. My hope is that some day a director with vision will relaunch this book as a movie that more closely resembles Crichton's vision and story.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must read Its a great book. If you have seen the movie first the book tells a story thats ends diffrently and remains a joy to read. The ending seems rushed Crichton hits a great stride then simply wraps it up too quickly. Hamonds ending feals "phoned in". But hands down its a great read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must read This is a great book! If you loved the movie and are looking for a good book in your free time, look no further! You will adore this story! The story starts off slow with build up and gives hints to InGen's secret, but be patient, soon the story becomes a real page turner. The most impressive aspect of this book is the ability to convey something the movie barely touches: fear. The terror you feel when you know you are helpless to prevent something. Make no mistake, Jurassic park, "spared no expense".
