Rated 5 out of 5 by from The value of the environment from a child's eye People all over the world are concerned that the human race is destroying the planet and its resources at an ever-increasing rate. It is believed that the generations of today will be responsible for the future of Earth and its environment. Allsburg's book is simple enough for children to understand and it creatively illustrates the devastating consequences that could befall our planet if people's actions continue to harm the environment. It also shows simple ways that everyone, including young children, can prevent this destruction. This book is well written. It is an easy way of teaching children the importance of a clean environment.
