Rated 5 out of 5 by from loved it This was the first Harlan Coben book that I read, and I LOVED it. I read it in four days, I just couldn't put it down. I think that Coben does a good job developing his characters, they always seem so real to me. I have noticed though, that most of the main characters in his stand alones are quite similar to each other, but that's probably because they are all similar to him. haha. But I especially liked the main character, Beck, in this book. LOVED him. He will forever be my original book boyfriend

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Plenty of twists and turns David Beck and his wife Elizabeth were together since they were kids and very much in love. Eight years ago, Elizabeth was kidnapped and found murdered, and David never got over losing her. So why is David suddenly getting mysterious emails as if they are from Elizabeth? Another really good book by Coben with plenty of twists and turns and a surprise right at the end. This one didn't have that great opening sentence like a lot of his books do, and took a little longer to get going for me, but overall, I really liked it.
