An adorably fun and fresh contemporary romance about testing the boundaries between friendships and relationships: because after all, what's a little harmless kissing between friends?

Juniper, Jasper, and Lenny have been friends forever and co-own a vlog channel called WereVloggingHere. Their fans are huge "shippers" who believe that Juniper and Jasper are perfect for each other, and, despite warnings from friends and family, a simple Truth-or-Dare inspired kiss soon spirals out of control into a whole new world of making out and surprise kisses.

Juniper and Jasper's relationship begins to shift. But as fan requests for different "Kiss Cam" segments keep pouring in, Juniper puts her worries aside and convinces herself that it doesn't mean anything. After all, it's just kissing. right?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Points for Creativity~ Kiss Cam was a cute read in a predictable way with a tiny bit of angst. Opening up the book I had no expectations whatsoever. Maybe for some kissing because it is called KISS Cam ;) The story was enjoyable but can be exasperating at times. When I first read the synopsis, I couldn't fathom how a story about kissing could be a couple hundred pages. After finishing up Kiss Cam I have to say the length is very appropriate and the development of the story made sense. There was minimal drama but still the necessary heartache. The characters were so easy to relate to, their conversation topics so familiar. Juniper (June) and Jasper were extra relatable to me because I share their love for Criminal Minds. I knew exactly which episode they were talking about at the beginning of the book lol. The talk of ships, Jasiper (the Jasper and Juniper ship name) and even a Jenny (Jasper and Lenny) had me grinning. I am totally a Jasiper shipper. It spoke volumes that they could be so easy and comfortable with each other. I understood the hesitation in possibly ruining a friendship so perfect but in my eyes, they belonged together. I'm amazed at the Kiss Cam requests. Something as simple as a kiss can really be expanded upon. I enjoyed watching Jasiper fulfill those requests, they had undeniable chemistry. Despite the kissing fading out about half way through the book, they were bold, creative and swoony. Good fun while they lasted. I must also mention there's an excellent array of side characters. Lenny, the other guy in the vlogging trio, never felt like a third wheel. He was rather the comic relief with his Eva Longoria obsession. It would be super fun to get to see his story! I wonder what kind of girl he'd end up falling for ;) Allison, June's best girl friend, was the voice of logic. She reminds June to be careful but never stops her from making her own decisions. June's dad was the voice of reason. I love how open she was able to be with him! I'm pretty sure most dads would freak out over hearing what Jasiper had been doing but not June's dad. He simply offers her sound advice when she struggled and had doubts. While Kiss Cam wasn't anything remarkable, it does dish out swoon worthy (bordering on hot) moments, relatable characters, healthy relationships and a positive representation of social media. I wouldn't have minded a bit more kissing but all in all, Kiss Cam was a satisfying read.
