about

Kung Pow Chicken is everyone's favorite avian superhero!

This series is part of Scholastic's early chapter book line called Branches, which is aimed at newly independent readers. With easy-to-read text, high-interest content, fast-paced plots, and illustrations on every page, these books will boost reading confidence and stamina. Branches books help readers grow!

In the third book in this full-colour series, Gordon's birdy senses are tingling like crazy! All over the city of Fowladelphia, chickens are acting strangely. Evil villain Birdbrain has been snatching citizens and putting zombie-like clones in their places. Kung Pow Chicken is hot on Birdbrain's tail feathers - that is, until an army of free-range zombie clones birdy-snatches him! What's a superhero to do?
