Rated 5 out of 5 by from It should never be out of print. Timeless and wonderful. This book should be the first on the shelf of new parents, and certainly should replace a few of the 'how to be a parent' books that have become an industry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must Have in Every Child's Library I was so thrilled to discover this book was still available....My sister and I signed this book out of the library repeatedly as kids. And my mom read these nursery rhymes to us so many times. My sister and I loved the pictures and loved that our mom could remember these same nursery rhymes from her own childhood. It is a classic and part of our cultural literacy. Makes a great shower gift. New moms will enjoy sharing these with their children - even if the nursery rhymes are new to some of the moms themselves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my childhood!! This book has the most beautiful illustrations, and the nursery rhymes within the book is everything i remember my mother telling me, what she could remember from when she was younger. The pages alternate colour and black and white, and the detail within the book is amazing. It amazed me how many versus some of the rhymes had, i had forgotten. There will be no disappointed readers if you are a classic nursery rhyme person
