About the Author

Jeffrey Marion, PhD was the founding member of the Leave No Trace board of directors. He is currently employed by the U.S. Geological Survey and he is also an adjunct professor at Virginia Tech University in the College of Natural Resources and Environment. He lives in Blacksburg, Virginia.
