Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Manga! I have never read the original Les Miserables or watched the movie, so this was the first time I heard the story. I really liked it. There was lots of tension in the story that I wasn’t expecting. There were also some mature themes, such as child abuse and prostitution. I always thought it was just a sad story, but the tense twists were very good. I liked the art in this graphic novel too. It follows the same design of the other Manga Classics. Each of the characters were distinctly drawn. I loved the way Cosette looked. She was so adorable! I really enjoyed this graphic novel. Now I want to read the original book! I received a copy of this book on NetGalley.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great adaptation! A beautiful adaptation of Les Miserables for those who were in love with the stage-play. I'd recommend it to any avid Les Miserables fan, or anyone interested in getting into the play. Overall, it'll give you another way of enjoying the play, in a more tangible way.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worth a shot! I bought this book a day ago and I have to say that the art is very beautiful! I think it portrays the feelings of both the characters and the story very well. In the begging, the plot is a little bit hard to keep up with; as it seems boring (that's just in my opinion). But as you read on, the story gets more and more intriguing! Overall, it's a good book - not the best manga I've read, but it's definitely worth a shot!
