about

Sometimes a good-bye is just the beginning?

When Emily Carson?s parents die in a plane crash, she?s left with nothing but her mother?s last words scrawled in lipstick on a tray table: ?Emily, please forgive me.?

Now it?s fall and Emily moves to New York City? where she attracts the attention of two very different boys: the cute, popular Owen, and her quirky chemistry partner, Anthony. With the help of some surprising new friends, Emily must choose between the boy who helps her forget and the one who encourages her to remember, and ultimately heal.

Debut author Jennifer Jabaley has written a wonderful, feel-good romantic comedy with real emotional depth. Full of lovably wacky characters, Lipstick Apology is a heartwarming story about the true meaning of forgiveness.

Jennifer Jabaley grew up in Bridgewater, New Jersey, and when not writing teen books she's busy being an optometrist. Jen lives in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Lipstick Apology is her first novel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderfully heartfelt and chaotic It was beautiful and tumultuous and so full of the confusion and chaos you expect from a situation like that... It was an amazing read that I'll recommend to my mentoring kids without a doubt.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Must Read! This book really was amazing. I couldn't put it down! Originally when i grabbed this book of the chapters shelf i thought it would be a simple read but it had me induced from the beginning. This story is about a girl named Emily, whose is going through a hard time. Her parents both passed away after their flight crashed but the weirdest part of all is the message that was left for Emily by her mother. "Emily, Please Forgive Me" Confused, lost and distraught Emily goes to live with her aunt Jolie. She is a famous make up artist in the big apple, living a complete different lifestyle from what Emily is used to. New friend, potential boyfriends and unforgettable grief are the main plot lines for this page turner and it is definitely highly recommended by me to read since it really is a simple, yet thrilling read.
