From a debut author-illustrator! What if a little owl fell from his nest? A reassuring story for the very young told with whimsy and simple, vibrant artwork.

Uh-oh! Little Owl has fallen from his nest and landed with a whump on the ground. Now he is lost, and his mommy is nowhere to be seen! With the earnest help of his new friend Squirrel, Little Owl goes in search of animals that fit his description of Mommy Owl. But while some are big (like a bear) or have pointy ears (like a bunny) or prominent eyes (like a frog), none of them have all the features that make up his mommy. Where could she be? A cast of adorable forest critters in neon-bright hues will engage little readers right up to the story’s comforting, gently wry conclusion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from bump, bump, bump My daughter's favorite line, bump bump bump. Very cute and easy for toddler to understand. Reads it almost every night. It's just a right length of a story for a 18 month old's attention span.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adorable Book! I was given this book as a shower gift and started reading it to my baby girl as a newborn. 4 months later it is still her favourite story. She loves the pictures and lights up every time we read it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great story with beautiful art work. This book was purchased for Happy Town Kindergarten. Our DE1 class, age 2, really love this book. The flap pages allow them to interact with their teacher as he/she reads to them, the colourful art work captures their interest, and they love the story. I hope to see many more books like this from the author.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We love it. Our 18 month old likes copying the actions the little owl does to describe his mother. Like "big eyes" and "pointy ears". It is a nice book to look at even as adults. We believe the moral of the story is that "everyone loves cookies".
