about

Yucky music, great big feet.

Ladies smelling way too sweet.

Look at knees and stand in line.

Llama Llama starts to whine.

Does any child like to go shopping? Not Llama Llama! But Mama can’t leave Llama at home, so off they go to Shop-O-Rama. Lots of aisles. Long lines. Mama is too busy to notice that Llama Llama is getting m-a-d! And before he knows it, he’s having a full-out tantrum! Mama quickly calms him down, but she also realizes that they need to make shopping more fun for both of them. Parents and children are sure to recognize themselves in this fun-to-read follow-up to the popular Llama Llama Red Pajama.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mamahs must buy this book for their little llama's(children) This is my first Llama Llama book that I've read. The cover and title looked so amusing that we borrowed it from our local library. My husband and I took turns reading/acting out the pages and enjoyed the laugh as a family. Our son may not act in the extreme parts of the oage, but as a parent, I'm sure this book will read true on some level if you ever brought your child(ren) with you to go to the store. I look forward to reading the rest of the Llama Llama series now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My son is obsessed My 2 1/2 year old loves this book. He has it memorized and can read the entire thing to me page by page. I would recommend it for anyone that takes their little one shopping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My daughter's favourite book I borrowed this from the library, and my 18 mo old daughter loved it so much that I had to buy it. She digs it out and brings it to us all hours of the day insisting that we read it to her. When we get to the part where little llama gets mad, she always tries to imitate his frown. Great illustrations, great rhyming, great story.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A nice sequel My son absolutely loved Llama Llama red pajama so I bought this for him. He is one year old and this story doesn't hold his attention quite as well. It's still a cute story but probably more suited for kids that are a little older. I think he'll grow into it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ranks with The Cat in the Hat Great story, rhyme and illustrations. There aren't many books that can compete with Dr. Seuss, but this one definitely does!
