Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Absolute Best Travel Guide In 1994 I took 4 travel guides to Australia! In 1997 I took 2 travel guides and Lonely Planet made the cut! In 1999 and again last year in 2016 I only took ONE travel guide and that was Lonely Planet Australia!!! It is the most informative and unique guide book I have ever used! Each edition that I have used has always been updated and I always find so many cool touristy things that are off the beaten path that are well within my travel budget! Holidays would not be complete without Lonely Planet! Awesome restaurants, unique places to stay and unusual and different tourist attractions to see..............what more can I say besides...............it is the best!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go to Guidebook It's one of the bigger guidebooks from Lonely Planet, but very valuable to bring along on my travels through Australia. I'd refer it to daily during my backpacking.
