Rated 4 out of 5 by from Earthy Reverence Donofrio's "Looking for Mary..." is a personal tale of her journey to faith via Mary, Jesus' mom. Donofrio is a woman who lived an intense life, professionally and otherwise, prior to meeting the Virgin Mary whom she came to admire in the most quirky and 'earthy' of ways. The author holds nothing back, she is honest, crass, frank, and reverent all at the same time. She explains how she encountered Mary and why she continues to journey with Mary alongside Jesus. A really excellent read for those not easily offended by life's harsh realities juxtaposed with the love and compassion our mother Mary communicates to us if we choose to listen.
