Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Book if you want to take your health & fitness to the next level! I am following this plan right now, and so far it is working! I am excited to go through with the entire game plan! This book made me critically analyse my diet and exercise plan to realize what is working, and what is not working for my body. As a science student, and a die-hard fitness and health aficionado; I was shocked to realize that I was actual sabotaging my own fitness goals. This book emphasizes the fact that everyone's metabolism is unique, and nutrition and exercise methods both play a role in determining body shape and health. The nutrition plan does resemble a modified paleo diet. The only think to note is that the first phase is strict, and may take time to for some individuals to adjust, especially if you lack discipline. They do a great job of explaining the science behind metabolism (more thoroughly) than their first book, and layout out each step and phase out clearly. Definitely take the time to google the authors and their webpage. My only criticism is that they do not offer other examples of exercise methods, besides weight training that provide the same benefits. And, I wish they had given a sample, one-week nutrition plan for vegans and vegetarians to give a better understanding of how to meet protein requirements.
