***NEW YORK TIMES Bestseller***

There’s complicated. And there’s Rowen Sterling.

After numbing pain for the past five years with boys, alcohol, and all-around apathy, she finds herself on a Greyhound bus to nowhere Montana the summer after she graduates high school. Her mom agreed to front the bill to Rowen’s dream art school only if Rowen proves she can work hard and stay out of trouble at Willow Springs Ranch. Cooking breakfast at the crack of dawn for a couple dozen ranch hands and mucking out horse stalls are the last things in the world Rowen wants to spend her summer doing.

Until Jesse Walker saunters into her life wearing a pair of painted-on jeans, a cowboy hat, and a grin that makes something in her chest she’d thought was frozen go boom-boom. Jesse’s like no one else, and certainly nothing like her. He’s the bright and shiny to her dark and jaded.

Rowen knows there’s no happily-ever-after for the golden boy and the rebel girl—happily-right-now is a stretch—so she tries to forget and ignore the boy who makes her feel things she’s not sure she’s ready to feel. But the more she pushes him away, the closer he seems to get. The more she convinces herself she doesn’t care, the harder she falls.

When her dark secrets refuse to stay locked behind the walls she’s kept up for years, Rowen realizes it’s not just everyone else she needs to be honest with. It’s herself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This book.......... wow. I want to cry. I want to throw this book across the room and scream. I want ro fall asleep smiling into my pillow. I want to do everything, and nothing all at once. You really do go through all the emotions while reading this book. All of them. Rowen Sterling is heading off to nowhere Montana to spend her summer before freedom locked away working for some family at a ranch, to prove to her mother she can take being away from home and stay out of the trouble that is her life. She's dreading it until Jesse Walker walks into her life. The 'golden boy' cowboy, he is everything Rowen is not. He's everything that is bad for her. He's everything she needs to stay away from. But there's something about him... but the closer they grow the more secrets are shared and the more Rowen is giving her heart out - something she has never done before and is scared to do. Can she overcome her past and realize that Jesse, the Walkers, and that so many others make her happy? Can she be honest with herself and embrace her past, and move on? This book tore me into pieces. It literally broke me and repaired me, over and over and over, so many times. Lost & Found is amazing and touching and deep. It's real but there is still humor, it's still entertaining, the voice is still a teenage girls. It's not light though - it is deep and hardhitting. But it's truthful and handles touchy topics that not many people can write about well but that happen all the time. Well, Williams did a fantastic job with this one. I have only read her other book, Crash, and i loved it... at first. Then as i thought about it, i really didn't think much of it and i saw its flaws. i dont want to compare books but... Lost & Found is so much better. It's much more mature and intense and is definitely for an older audience, in that there is sexual stuff but the topics and writing is more mature. I love it. You can totally connect with Rowen and feel everything. Everything. It's beautiful. One of those books that will stay with me. One of the best books i have read in a while. Top 20 for sure. There are times when it feels like a movie. Not unrealistic, just... conviently planned. And some of these characters are too wise for their age. But i wouldn't change any of it. It's what makes this book, this book. It's not really cliche or cheesy or predictable but... like i said, conviently planned. But it works and flows and, for me, doesn't take anything away from the book. The characters are all great, and Rowen grows so much in the spand of that summer it's amazing - but realistic. This book is so heartfelt and will get to you. It'll have you thinking about it for a long time and speechless. While you're reading you'll plow through the pages. The pace is fantastic, the scenes and stuff all intriguing. I love it. I love it. That's all i really need to say. I love it.
