Rated 1 out of 5 by from A god awful book! While browsing my local bookstore I saw this book, read the back and thought it was going to be good. I was so very wrong. This was THE WORST book I've ever read and that saying alot. It's about a doctor named Lara who after removing a bullet from a mystrious stranger (Robert) is left for dead only to be found by a freaking verision of the witness protection program that deals with vampires. She is given a new identity which she must use to help solve the case of missing blood at another hospital where a vampire named Bobby (whose alter ego name is Roberre) is working as a nurse. This was very confusing book to follow. The sequence of events are all over the place. Some of the characters have the same name and don't get me started on Chapter 7 and a half (yep, it was there). I forced myself to finish this book because I paid full price and foolishly thought it would get better. I am warning you all that it does not! Save your money and stay away from this book and the unfortunate sequel that the ending poorly hinted at.
