Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved by the Dragon As Christmas and the Winter Solstice draws near, Bram and Evie are faced with complications as Evie goes into labor in this entrancing Stonefire Dragons novella. Many trials have hit their clan since Evie and Bram’s mating and they’ve worked together to make the world a better place for all dragons but this one is more personal and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as they are faced with the complications that arise from a dragon-human pregnancy. The tension is spine tingling and keeps readers on the edge of their seats as Dr. Sid calls for help and anticipation builds as Bram has a special surprise for Evie. These strong captivating characters captured hearts in Seducing the Dragon and they grip the heart even harder with the emotional turmoil that flows from the pages in this fast paced, smooth flowing plot that entrances readers with suspense and excitement. This is one exciting story as it kept me on pins and needles from beginning to end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from vividly captivating What a vivid and lifelike novella! Donovan drew me into this vivid world in a fantastic manner while adding to the intricate world that we’ve come to know throughout the series. Donovan engaged my emotions while drawing me into the world that she’s created. I found myself panicking, crying, and rejoicing alongside the characters. Honestly, I had to put it down so I didn’t burst out in tears in the lunch room at work, and it was all I could think about all afternoon. At the same time, the characters were realistic and very approachable, while remaining larger than life and completely loveable, each in their own unique way. Donovan has definitely nailed it with this Stonefire novella. I felt like I was really there, caught up in all of the vivid action and realities of the characters that she’s brought readers back to. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Quick Read I was gifted this book as an ARC by the Author for an honest review. Even though this is a novella and not to be read without reading Seducing The Dragon first, It was a wonderful story following up with Bram and Evie. Too many times I am left wondering what happens after the story ends and this story helps to fill in the blanks. I enjoy reading Jessie Donovan's books as she keeps me captivated from start to finish and I usually have a hard time putting down the book once I start it.
