As the murders mount and the killer grows bolder, Sandry's teaching takes on a grave purpose. It becomes clear to everyone that the killings can only be stopped by the combined magic of two people: the young teacher and her even younger student.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A definite read What a wonderful book. Even though the book is suggested for girls, it it worth a read for young men. It has suspense, a cunning story line that will please anybody. This is the first book by this author, but I will definitely read more about the 4 magical apprentices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! Once again she has done it. This book is wonderful. It's interesting and funny, and easy to relate to. Plus it has magic (I looooooove magic). The worst thing about this book, as of all Tammy's books is that you finish it. And then you have to wait impatiantly till you have another of her books.
