Papier-mâché is a composite material consisting of paper pieces or pulp, sometimes reinforced with textiles, bound with an adhesive, such as glue, starch, or wallpaper paste.

In the book, I show you how to create a "juggling" clown sculpture. For this project, I have used traditional and contemporary papier mâché methods, intending to recycle as much household refuse as possible. Most of the materials and equipment I have used are low-cost or free and can be found in and around the home. This is a marvelous way to recycle your waste and other useless bits and pieces.
