Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mansfield Park by Jane Austen my main issue was the main " love interest " Edmond, GOD I just hate this guy so much .. he got on my nerves with every sentence he said .. I hated his double standards and in my opinion he is whats wrong with our society, men like him get on my nerves I wanted to wipe him off the story .. he pretends that he is that good guy and all he cares about is honor and bullshit like that and then he throws everything out of the window for a girl that he is not sure he likes .. and all the while he is convinced that he is doing the right thing !! GO TO HELL Edmond I hate you. I am team Henry .. and I really wanted Fanny to end with him because he is the better man in my opinion. overall it was a really REALLY boring read and nothing much happened .. but I liked how real the characters were.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible! By far one of my favourite Austen novels. I just finished reading it yesterday and I was in awe of how amazing it was. Austen is incredibly witty and Fanny Price is one of her best characters. Highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Story ♥ I remember buying this on sale for $5 in a bookstore; I was in a classical mood and I'm definitely glad I bought it!!! Reading Fanny's experiences brought to mind some of my own; we can both be very timid people, and I can relate to her views on the Crawfords. It's quite the tale of Regency manners and virtue as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a classic I bought this during my trip to the Philippines, started in on the plane ride back to Canada and finished it a few days later after coming home. I've recently been on an Austen-reading mood and this is the third book I've read from her. I realized halfway through the book that it was much longer than Persuasion and Pride and Prejudice but I was very much into the story. Some do not like Fanny Price due to her timid nature but I think she is a strong woman in her own way. One does not need to be loud or hot-headed to be strong. I found her strong moral standing and firmness in her beliefs quite admirable. Even when those around her, including Edmund, were kind of being blinded by other people. It's short of a 5-star review but I'm sure if I reread this in the future my review can change.
