Rated 1 out of 5 by from A complex biography to follow! I have always wanted to learn about Marshall Mcluhan based on my past studies on Canadian film animation and history of the NFB. However, the author tries to emulate Marshall Mcluhan by including a jamboree of alliteration on three pages. The reader is thrown into an experimental book which loses the reader. The medium is the message as Mcluhan often stated. The reader is thrown back and forth in the life of Mcluhan where makes it harder to the reader to keep up especially with excerpts from critiques and others which Mcluhan is not part of. This experimental book did not grasp my attention just as Mcluhan's experimental animation did.
