Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fine Martin Chuzzlewit isn't the very best Dickens has to offer. I like that the titular character develops as the book progresses. It's interesting that the characters go to America instead of spending all their time in England. However, while some of the secondary characters are eccentric and interesting, many of the women are quite dull and underdeveloped. Classic Dickens.
