Reviews

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Waste Your Time I really wanted to like this series, but it was just a horrible read. I'd say from start to finish, but in truth, I just couldn't bring myself to finish Reached. I hated how each chapter was a different character's perspective (not in Matched, but in Crossed and Reached). The romance between Cassia and Ky was so superficial, I never bought it. Bottom line, these books were a waste of time and paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! this series was great!! if your looking for a good compelling series, but you're afraid of the some of the more gruesome series coming out lately, this is a really amazing option! It's got a good base of ideas, it keeps you reading, and it's really a thumbs up!! so much happens, and so many moments of WHHAAA?!?!... heehee love this series!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth your money or time. I was extremely disappointed with this series. It was recommended if you also enjoyed The Hunger Games & Divergent. The place the characters live in this book is SOOOOO boring. The characters are boring and you don't feel any connection to them. Their daily activities are dreadfully dull, their leisure time is blah and what they can get in trouble for doing is laughable. After reading intense books like The Hunger Games, Divergent & The Testing...this book feels like your reading about Sesame Street. I could have dealt with it being less intense if it at least had a love story that was good but it didn't even have that. It seemed very silly. Bottom line, if all the characters got blow up and died, I wouldn't have cared.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I just finished reading this book a couple days ago and I am eager to read Crossed and Reached. We are introduced to Cassia, a girl who has never questioned the life she has been "given." As the novel progresses she transforms into a more confident and self assured person who is not willing to make any more sacrifices. In the closing of the novel she chooses to fight for the things she wants, she chooses to "fight against the dying of the light."

Rated out of 5 by from The young recipient of the book set was overjoyed to receive it at Christmas. I guess that's a sort of review.
