Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for younger teenagers Haven't read the series in a while but I remember loving it and reading it over and over when I was about 12-14.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rambly I am a fan of James Patterson and YA, so a James Patterson YA novel seemed like a no-brainer. Unfortunately I ended up disappointed. This is a story with decent characters and an okay idea, but that doesn't seem to be going anywhere. You get a distinct making-it-up-as-I-go-along feel which to me was off putting. Wouldn't recommend for teens or adult YA readers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have fallen in love This book is one of my all time favourite books. The entire series is gut renching and painful yet will make you so happy. I recommend it to anyone who likes fiction novel and/or a little touch of fantasy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from There Was So Much Hope I picked this up at random when I was a pre-teen and there was period when I was semi-obsessed with it. In part due to getting older and developing a better understanding of writing and Patterson's seemingly increasing apathy for this series, the rest of the books (especially the latter half) were not as enjoyable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Omygosh Well being a fan of the original Maximum Ride novels, I knew what was going to happen through the book but seeing how clearly the pictures helped to explain the story I was in awe. This is a great read and I hope anyone who decides to read it loves it as much as I do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Different The plot had a good speed and I thought it had good ideas and I loved the way everything played out. I really loved the characters though. The was they were described and brought into the book was really amazing. It didn't ever seem to get boring and I really liked that even if at some points the book seemed like the plot was a little too fast. But it was still really good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Patterson knows how to construct a rollercoaster Maximum Ride is amazing. The story, the action, the suspence, and all the questions...they all add up to an amazing series. The Angel Experiment was a fast paced story of Max and her 5 friends,--Fang, Iggy, the Gasman, Nudge, and Angel--experiments of the School. They were genitically constructed to have 2% bird DNA, meaning, they have wings. They ran away 4 years ago, and the School has been tracking them down all this time. And now they've found them. This is the story of their lives, a constant running and hiding that leads them through adventures on every page. A stunning read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Book I've Ever Read Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson is the best book I have ever read. I'm a big book reader and enjoy books, so that is saying a lot. My friend gave me the book to read because she loved it so much, and once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I read the entire book within hours. I had to run to the store the next day to get the next book in the series because I couldn't stand not knowing what happened next. In my mind James Patterson is a genius.
