The Saints and Officers having assembled, the Meeting was opened with singing and prayer.

Elder Banks then inform ed the ass'embly of various items of business which would occupy the morning; and accordingly the presiding Elders proposed all alterations necessary in their Branches, among which the most important were, that Elder Joseph Kimber should pre side over Cold Ash that Elder Thomas Smith labour in, and travel through Hungerford and the adjacent villages; and that Joe] Beechen labour in Hastings.
