Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this Book! This most wonderful book is equal parts cookbook and memoir. The recipes are laid out by season, with each season introduced by Sophie and a wonderful story from her person experiences. I've owned this book for many years now, and have tried most every recipe, and am happy to announce they are all quite delicious and straight forward. Many of them have since become regular meal staples within my household. This book will become a cherished addition to your cookbook collection, that you refer to again and again. I'm certainly looking forward to passing it along to my children one day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Read this book! I loved this book so much. It's so much more than a cook book. There's a story that goes along with it, and she has such an interesting and beautiful way of telling it. The pretty pictures and the way that it's laid out is such a treat. I come back to it time and time again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely in Every Way Not only is this cookbook lovely to look at, creatively organized by season, and with beautifully inviting photographic images, it's also an enchantingly written memoir. Oh, and yes, there are the recipes! As of this writing, have only tried a few (Coquette's eggs and Dad's chicken curry), so I'm refraining from giving it a full "5-leaf" rating, but if the other recipes are as simple to follow yet as flavourfully delicious as those I've tried, this book appears headed to be one of my favourites, that I'll return to again and again.
