Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool Book First of all, this contains a lot of monsters you can put into the game. Only necessary if you are Dungeon Mastering a game. My favourite part of it though is the descriptions of the monsters that it gives. These descriptions help with ideas for game sessions with friends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Player Killers Manual It has amazing art and easy to read stat blocks, but I sometimes find searching for specific creatures a little difficult, as they get put into sub-groups or lumped with others that are similar. It makes sense, but it can be irritating when you need the were-rat stats in the middle of the game and forget to look under "Lycanthropy".

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful resource but difficult to find specific monsters I do not like how the book is organized. The monsters are not in alphabetical order and it is not apparent to a novice how this is sorted. I still have to use the index each time to find a monster stat. Very frustrating. With that being said, the artwork is exceptional and the stats are well presented. Once I find what I am looking for it makes it easy to run encounters.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Warped pages I ordered this book 5 times from 2 different sources and they all come back damaged with warped pages probably caused by moisture. I have yet to see a monster manual that is not water damaged.
