This is the twentieth in the series of stories covering the lives of Detective Chief Inspector Victor Moyes and his second in command Detective Sergeant Victoria Morgan. Set in the nineteen sixties before mobile telephones and the computer age, they rely on old fashioned policing methods which were slow and laborious.

In this story we see Victoria Morgan going undercover in a nudist camp as they try to infiltrate a group of dysfunctional friends who set up the Estuary Holiday Park. Victoria is a lot more intelligent than Victor and points him in the direction that his enquiries should take. The exhibitionist in her means that Victoria gets caught up in some of the activities of the group, much to Victor’s disapproval, which proves a major obstacle to their relationship.
