It marched by regiments from Providence to Newtown, Conn., and thence by brigades. The dates refer to the encampments of the regiment, or of the brigade, to which Count William de Deux-Ponts belonged. The table does not differ materially from the route laid down by the Abbé Robin, in his Nouveau Voyage, pp. 222--4. According to his dates, the Abbé must have accompanied the regiment of Soisonnois.
