Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Useful! Lots of down to earth recipes, nothing too crazy. It is Gwenyth Paltrow's book, so it has a snooty attitude to it, I get that a lot of people don't care for her, but the book itself is good, recipes are great, just overlook the fact that she thinks she's better than you. It's my go to cookbook.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Typical celebrity "written" cookbook just a collection of what is trendy at the moment, plus some "personal" stories.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My go-to cookbook People are quick to give Gwyneth a hard time, but this cookbook is full of easy, delicious and inspiring recipes. Some dishes do require a bit more effort, but all-in-all a great cookbook for the average home cook.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's Actually A Really Good Cookbook My copy is getting very worn since I use it so often. The food comes out great and the recipes are easy to follow. Also like that it's easy to make smaller portions. Very happy and highly recommend.

I just bought the book again for a gift, I have given several copies of this cook book to family and friends and I have not yet to do a recipe that hasn't been amazing. This gal loves food and can sure cook! You will not be disasppointed!! So many good receipes, but the lime salad dressing it to die for!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must-have Cookbook! The first night I brought it home, I read it cover to cover. Every recipe shares a little history or life story which is really cute (there isn't a picture for every recipe but there are many pictures). The book contains a section listing ingredients from a "well stocked" pantry, which is a really nice place to start. I also love that there are so many one-pot recipes and every recipe is really easy to follow without too many steps or ingredients. So far, the recipes have been really simple to make but look so elegant and taste delicious!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple and Easy many of the ingredients are already in your cupboards, making the chore of gathering ingredients simple ... the recipes use quality ingredients and after trying out several recipes, it is easily becoming one of my favourite cookbook purchases

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tree hugger ingredients made user friendly I am a carnivore. To me, vegetables are garnish to be moved aside so you can get to the meat. With this cookbook you can actually make food that tastes great and is healthier for you. Best of all, it sounds like it is written by someone who actually likes food and realizes most of us don't live in a macrobiotic world. Mine is largely populated by bacon cheesburgers and poutine. There is a handy chart that helps you to make substitutions if you cant't find item called for in the recipe, like agave nectar.
